Discovering Joyce DeWitt’s Net Worth

An actress from America, Joyce DeWitt possesses a net worth estimated at $4 million. Famously known for her role in the sitcom “Three’s Company,” she was part of 171 episodes out of 172 across eight seasons between 1977 and 1984.

The reports circulating about Joyce DeWitt retiring from showbiz after the conclusion of “Three’s Company” are not entirely accurate. She has continued acting in various films and TV shows over the years.

Salary Dispute and Suzanne Somers Feud

During the initial season, both Joyce and her “Three’s Company” co-star, Suzanne Somers, were paid $3,500 per episode. After season four, they were offered a raise to $30,000 per episode. Joyce accepted the offer, whereas Suzanne demanded $150,000 per episode and a share of the back-end profits, resulting in her departure from the show.

Assuming Joyce continued earning $30,000 per episode for seasons 5, 6, 7, and 8, she would have accumulated $2.8 million in earnings. In today’s standards, earning $30,000 per episode in the early 1980s would equate to $112,000 per episode.
